9/27/2023 0 Comments Demon hunter strafe buildI recommend Avarice Band + Boon of the Hoarder because you gain a permanent 30% movement speed bonus as well as 30 yards pickup radius, which basically covers half of your screen. If you use two resource-items, you should not have any trouble to keep up perma Strafe no matter your rolls. To use Cindercoat, you have to use the fire rune on Strafe. Other than that, you can just choose the items you find first, Hexing Pants obviously boosts your damage if you are still a little bit too weak, Pride's Fall helps a lot more with resources though (especially for spamming Smoke Screen). ![]() After having tested different options I found Gloves of Worship to be the best item to go along with it in T6 for endgame speed clears (1-2 min rifts), as you will obtain many shrines doing so. ![]() Most importantly, you need to get the 6pc Natalya bonus, what you do after that is pretty much up to your personal preferences. This setup has a lot of flexibility in your item choices. Stat Priority: Dex Dmg % Socket Reduced Resource Cost.Stat Priority: Socket CHD CHC Reduced Resource Cost.Stat Priority: Dex CDR Reduced Resource Cost Dmg %.( 6) Set: After casting Rain of Vengeance, deal 3500% increased damage and take 60% reduced damage for 10 seconds. ( 4) Set: Rain of Vengeance deals 100% increased damage. When I start to take Damage I will activate Shadow Power.( 2) Set: Reduce the cooldown of Rain of Vengeance by 4 seconds when you hit with a Hatred-generating attack or Hatred-spending attack. Then I cast Hungering Arrow for main Damage, alternating with Strafe to kite the monsters and proc both Bastions of Will Rings. As soon as I see monsters I cast Fan of Knives to gain 40% Armor.I start by manually casting Hungering Arrow to gain my 20 stacks of Momentum.I made this video, for a different reason, of a Greater Rift 80 run. I’m playing a Demon Hunter very similar to yours. In your battle with Malthael, you ran through some of his most deadliest attacks, getting yourself instantly killed. You should always activate Companion at the start of a battle and when it’s off Cooldown. You’re losing out on even more Damage you could be doing since you’re using the Wolf Rune. I never once saw you activate Companion. ![]() Shadow Power increases your Life per Hit when you’re mobbed. Shadow Power should only be used when you feel like you’re about to take Damage. That’s why you’re also running out of Discipline. Hungering Arrow is your main Damage dealer and your resource generator. And because Strafe is NOT your main Damage dealer, you’re doing even less Damage than you should. It is also why you’re always running out of Hatred. Because of this, you’re not doing as much Damage as you could be. So, you’re only proc’ing one of the Bastions Rings, but never both. Hungering Arrow is your MAIN DAMAGE DEALER. ![]() And even then you only gained 14 stacks, which you immediately let drop off. That means you’re not attacking with Hungering Arrow, except that one time.
